Destiny Child - Secret to Success in Rumble

Destiny Child - Secret to Success in Rumble (even with 25K power deficit)

I have felt so frustrated with many match-ups in Devil Rumble, that have always pit me against crazy tough opponents and with team power way,way more than me. But by now, I have a win rate of over 52% in Devil Rumble and have now achieve Silver rank 4 and going to reach Silver Rank 5 (now about 8110+ points).
The secret to success is 1. Item quality and upgrades, 2. Skill upgrade, 3. Types of combatant and closest weakness element and battle types.
1 and 2 are straightforward, but they play quite important roles, as majority of the battle is aided by this two factors. The only problem are these resource are limited, and there is not much to play around and it takes time to build up unless you spend a lot of money.

My current deck consist of 2 attackers (Mafdet, Liberated Maat), one support for skill speed (Chang'e), and one healer that also act as defence (Syrinx), and one support that act as defense and attack buff (Epona).
We can't overlook the importance of debuffer Rumble as the battle can't usually be concluded until Fever is available. Therefore, any slowness to activate skills or reduced Drive meter will result in a loss. Slowing skill debuffer like Cube Moa, Olga, Lan Fei, are extremely important, since they also most probably has decent DPS with their double attack together with their skill speed reduction debuff.
To achieve this end, I'm training Lan Fei (for Drive meter reduction), Olga (for Silencing enemy), and Yaga (for slowing down enemy Skill meter), and will probably change Yaga to Naias (for support speed) when I get her in the future.

Sorry that I'm out of touch with the blog now, as I just play the game without bothering to report much.

Destiny Child - New Event (Re:Birth Labyrinth)

Destiny Child - New Event (Re:Birth Labyrinth)

We have ourselves a new event on the 14th March, which is the Re:Birth Labyrinth. This event is not as great as Ragna-Break, but it does offer some niche things for us to ponder, especially costumes and items.

The Re:Birth Labyrinth event focus on gaining coins for performing alchemy (Basically earn some items and to get the grand prize of custom costumes and evolution material drops). My chart is quite ok, with 2 options for accessory drops, so I won't refresh my chart. I did a mistake of claiming the prize in my mail too soon and wasted the refresh dungeon option that gives you another 5 tries at the dungeon.

The dungeon is quite simple, but you would need a lot of team power to pass to Stage 2, 3-stars. Even with my Team power of 58K+, I would need to be careful to always spam my drive skill in proper fashion. The enemy has a lot of HP, Attack, Def, Charging Speed, etc, and reduced debuff at 3-star mode. that mode only offer 40% extra coin drop after winning the dungeon, which is 1050 coins total.

The daily quest can haul up 200 coins and quite a lot of stamina, which is good for dailies. Overall, this event is still not that great, but good if you only want to spend a short amount of time in game.  With 5 daily recharge (500 crystals for paid reset, not worth it since daily quest reward is already claimed), you can get 170 stamina, and 1000 coins, and plus with 5x1050 coins, I get my 5x synthesis daily. Thought for the first 4 days, I wasted many moves onto Stage 3 1-star dungeon, only to fail miserably due to their high damage, focused single target attack, with their 2-stage operation, which make the entire battle like hell. Go for Fire children that can tank 5K damage per strike, because Kraus attack is that high, and her defense is insanely high, and they always got buffed with Fortitude from Brownie (actual Brownie don't offer that skill, only this special boss does).

You also need to clear Stage 3, 3-star to claim the main prize of 100K coins, which is just undoable. You need sheer luck from Stage 3, 1-star alone that it's just crazy. Those that can make it must have fully developed their children to max (84K team power), and won't be needing the synthesis coins at that point. Quite a crappy event in my opinion (Due to difficulty level).
Hope you enjoy the comment and your game.

Destiny Child - Fourth 6-star child

Destiny Child - Fourth 6-star child

Few days ago, managed to gather enough 5-star children and materials to make a 6-star child. I choose Syrinx because of her Fortitude skill alone. Seems to scale better than Epona that uses bubble defence.

In my Main team (Mafdet, Chang'e, Liberated Maat, Mars, and Syrinx), all except Mars will get to be 6-stars children, because I want enemy AI to always pick my defender due to their high HP and defence stat. AI of game seems to pick their attack coordinatedly, and sometimes they tend to be just hit everywhere evenly. The AI for my auto-attack also seem to hit everywhere equally most of the time, so I let Mafdet dish out her all-out attack to everyone. That way, Syrinx can't cover them all, but this team is weak against debuffers that slow down charge speed or remove drive charge (Lan Fei and Olga)

My next plan is to grow my Olga and Lan Fei to 6-star themselves, and try to find the Moa (5-star child) for a proper debuffing team for Devil Rumble.

Hope you guys can get your 6-star child too.

Destiny Child - Exp farming

Destiny Child - Exp farming

Just for information, there last dungeon at map 7 with the Exp+ circle (Calchas 2) is the best place to farm experience for your children. It would be even sweeter to do that during Hot Time (weekend). The dungeon rewards 192 experience point when you complete it, and also provide item drops (fire, wood, light, and dark of 3 star quality) (weapon, armour, and accessory of 3 star B quality, good as upgrade fodders). Due to influx of dark crystals material, the link of dark crystal drop and accessory made this quite a hard choice for me to pick. When Hot Time comes, you will get a whopping 384 experience points per win in that dungeon, which is even more than the 320 experience point in Event Dungeon - Level-up materials.

In order to farm experience efficiently, we need to look into the factors of a farming dungeon. Farming dungeon for experience need stamina, and also we need materials for a child to grow strong, like items and rank-up drops. These are all almost fulfilled in the dungeon stated above. In order to have sufficient stamina, we need to stock up stamina properly and unleash them during Hot Time.
Also remember, that stamina only regenerate when it don't hit the maximum limit. In my case, my limit is 244 at level 60. I saw some people have their stamina max limit above that, but I not sure how they got it. May be from premium shops, but I can't seem to find it. In order to recover stamina while holding a lot of stamina for Hot Time, I only spend recovered stamina, and daily quest stamina (example: Night World Underground). Any stamina that lands up in my Mailbox or event quest that you can selectively choose to collect, I will leave it there till Hot Time. I also did my daily battle with friends to collect the stamina and leave them in my message. They are truly a lot (I net 957 stamina for the past 4 days) stamina to gain from friendly battle, just that they are time consuming. If you don't have time, always just join a battle then escape the battle to register a loss. You will still gain 1 stamina in oppose to 3 when you win, but it takes time and attention as the drive skills is not automated.
The latest event (Re:Birth Labyrinth) also give a lot of stamina in their daily quest, so you have to spend away the stamina daily to let stamina regen start. I also stock up stamina from Devil Pass reward and only claim it during Hot Time for most efficient use of stamina. You can also stock up stamina from daily login challenge, as they land in your Mailbox.

The trick to farming experience easily from high level dungeon is to have one or two six star child to become regulators and help protect the team. I have my third six-star child now, so only 2 at a time they will be together and help win the team in the fights, and share the experience to other weakier members. Cycle the team once one of them have reach level 50 or max level. I always try to let all 5 of my child in the team earn experience when they win a fight. This way, they all can grow. No use making one child max and super strong, while the rest are flailing. Those that maxed level can stay out of the fight and get into niche position during events, and be in prepared position to be turned into 6-star child when necessary.

Hope that you guys can farm exp efficiently and grow the child quickly. Also, while farming experience, once a while drop by Devil Rumble to spend your tickets before continue to farm experience points. This game is quite time consuming and can appear grindy.

Destiny Child - Get your 5-star child before maintenance break

Dear Destiny Child fans,

I'm late to post this post, as the 4 5-star child summon chance up is a good way to get your 5-star child in the summon. The chance is so low in normal crystal summon, that any 5-star child is good for me. I got my all 3 important children (Syrinx - excellent child, current meta child. Blue Olga - also an excellent child, also current meta child to stop attacks and delay enemy drive-meter, attack is strong and also a good debuffer. Eve - excellent water attacker. Jupiter - just so so, not good, can be used as fodder for 6-star summon)
This event will end on end of 13th March 2019, right before maintenance. So I go through all my Story Mode to get all the crystals I can muster to summon. I got x2 Syrinx, 1 Blue Olga, and x2 Eve out of several x10 summon with crystals (7 time I guess), which I think is acceptable

Maintenance break is ongoing, and new event is coming up. I have no experince in this event, so I have no comment.
I have prepared my child in many manner, and hopefully can utilize this event properly from the start, unlike Ragna-Break that I join in halfway. I managed to get 320K potato chips (331K chips to be exact, bad RNG force me to buy another reset) and got all the rewards from dungeon with a total of 4 resets and 28 extra card open (total of 1520 + 840 crystals). So far only got 1 5-star child (Lost Maat) and the others are mostly 3-star child and several 4-star ones, not really worth the 30 crystals opening them. Hopefully they reimburse the potato chips (with crystals, fingers crossed)

Destiny Child - Rumble Preparation

Destiny Child - Rumble Preparation

Also, finally I managed to consume all my stamina during Hot Time.

The gain in experience is great (at Stage 7-8 Easy, any of the four dungeons, continue to farm at bonus EXP dungeon will net 384 Exp per battle, consume only 15 stamina).

Gain some valuable children (Blue Olga, Syrinx, Eve x 2) from crystal summon. Also got my first 5-star child from Narrative Holy War boss for the first time (Lost Maat). Syrinx skill (Fortitude) is too useful, that it is able to stop any Drive attack 100%. If you see many zeros appear above the opposing children's head, means the skill Fortitude is activated. AI timed them exactly when you cast your Drive attacks. This means we can't always be victorious just by having the most devastating Drive attack. Syrinx also double up as a healer. That's why she's been popular with the stronger decks lately.
Also today I managed to rank-up my third child to 6-stars, utilizing 2 Mammon child and 2 evolved Small aurora blob, plus one 5-star Aurora blob. I decide to upgrade Liberated Maat, to let her be an EXP farmer since she's good at killing mobs. This is also due to currently I have too much Dark Diamonds and Dark Stone lying around due to Narrated Holy War event
The game has been a little quiet, and Rumble is just too inefficient. Rumble pairing is always difficult, as they pit me up with 70K+ team power at Bronze League 5. My team power has just reached 50K, and I rarely win up to 5 matches per day, except for the first day after reset.
However, today, as the first day of reset, I still lost all the time save for two matches. The wait for rumble to refill is long, and my stamina is always recovering. Do our stamina recover if it has reached the max? I had a feeling that my stamina still grow even when it is over the max, or maybe it did grow because it is over the max.

Have fun tomorrow during rumble.

Destiny Child - End of Ragna-Break Season 1

Destiny Child - End of Ragna-Break Season 1 and its conclusion

Ragna-Break has ended, and they convert the remaining ragna-coins to a 1-to-10 ratio. My remainder 12500+ coins got turned to 125000+ in-game gold right after the game ends. If only I knew it earlier, I will consider keeping my 260K ragna-coins. Instead, I spent it onto platinum and gold boxes, and they only provide back minimal amount of ragna-coins (1K, 2.5K) and some 4-star items.
The run of Ragna-break has been quite ok, and yesterday I got another 5-star child (Daoine Sidhe, got one similar two days before). Have been enjoying quite a lot of gold and Onyx from killing of Aurora Kings, though not easy to spot.

Have been using gold to help summon more 2-stars children, and got Frej (5-star). Also, the influx of gold helped me to get Mafdet to evolve to 6-star child (My second 6-star child)
Managed to get Frej from Gold summon x 10

Next event will be on March 11 to March 17 (Crystal Rumble event, source from Facebook Destiny Child).
Currently there is also new summon child option with 4 of its 5-star child improved chance to be obtained (Eve, Olga, Syrinx, and Jupiter)

Got Eve from Best Rumble pickup summon

They also give you a free x 10 premium summon for 3 days.

For today, I tested the new crystal summon package, and got Eve (too late for event, as I don't have Water element attacker).

Today, have been free compared to the hectic days of Ragna-Break, every day spotting Aurora King to gain materials for child enhancements. So as of now, I will be doing crystal farming (full swing) if I can manage it. No busy activity like before, so just daily Rumble and Narrative Holy War to watch out. Still haven't receive any reward from Ragna-Break Slayer Ranking position. Only achieved ~50% (42%, not willing to spend 1000 crystal for 10 extra battles that may not get me to 40%, though I missed one Aurora King due to that)

Also have been resuming the Hard quest that I left for some time due to insufficient power. Now the battle has reached a new problem; you have to kill them all below 5 minutes mark. Because of the tactic is to time the drive skill at the start of each battle, the damage output is not quick enough to kill all of them when come to phase 5. I would have to change strategy, to tank more damage and force out as much DPS economically. Even the efficient Liberated Maat can't provide enough alone. I would need to field at least 3 attackers to get pass this stage.
Liberated Maat has been doing her job fine as mob destroyer and single target attacker. I will use her even at max level to help farm exp for the other 4 children, as her DPS is one of the highest for PVE.

Hope you guys enjoy the game. Ragna-Break has been an event that keep the run going for f2p player like me. Have been considering to buy, but I am not connected enough to the game to buy them yet. Now that there is no Ragna-Break, things looks to be less active. Thank you for reading.

Destiny Child - Lucky Day

Destiny Child - Lucky Day

Dear fans and friends of Destiny Child,

I write here without posting a notice after Reddit site admin ask me to reduce posting to once a week and many complaints ask me to stop posting at Reddit due to no content. Even a line of word and a single word title pass off as something that they can up-vote hundreds to tens of thousands of times, makes me wonder what went wrong exactly. Maybe it's the audience base.

Anyway, I am lucky enough today in my 2700 crystal 10 x draw. I managed to get one 5-star child (Mafdet), which I already have one in my deck. (Unfortunately, I didn't capture the image, thinking the luck is just a one-off)

Then things got luckier. I was forced to summon x 10 using gold to get more 2-star children for crystal mining, but instead I got something unexpected. I draw 2 Mafdet again from a single 330K gold summon. How lucky is that (if only it was discovered in a crystal summon)? Unfortunately, the next x 10 draw is just all plain 1-star and 2-star children, which I don't mind. So now my Mafdet is uncapped to +3. Quite a lucky find.
This one got summoned using 330K in-game gold
 Uncapped +3 Mafdet

The luck don't just end here. In another lucky kill of Aurora King, he gave me a platinum box which gave me 5-star Big Aurora blob material. In another platinum box later from killing level 40 Morgan boss raid, I got another 4-star Small Aurora blob material.
Hail to Aurora King

Hope you guys can have fun and be patient with your luck in-game. Always expect the unexpected.

Destiny Child - Dana Skill Upgrade Cost

Destiny Child - Dana Skill Upgrade Cost

Dear friends and fans of Destiny Child,

The child that enchant all candidate Archfiend with her beauty and stone cold hard shields, Dana. Ouch.

Today, I just found out that Dana basic attack skill (Light Attack) cost 780 Onyx at rank 2 level 5. My Onyx spending is so going to burst.

Below is a comparison of Verdelet's skill cost. His first skill (Fire Attack) only cost 160 Onyx at rank 2 level 10. Please don't let Dana know about this (I don't want her to protest).

The good news today for me in Destiny Child is that I got a 5-star child, and a good one to boot.
I got her from a platinum chest right after killing an Aurora King. Below is her skill set. I can only say wonderful. What a defender.

Hope you enjoy the game and have fun hunting for platinum chest, for they do drop 4-5 stars children (even 5-star items, I got my Loyal Keeper Morgan skin through platinum chest).

(Edit: After some testing and a notification from a redditor, it seems that skill upgrade cost of Onyx raise until level 9 and then regressed back to a lower value after reaching level 10. This made it ideal to upgrade a skill 2 or 3 levels once you have uncapped a child, to get some damage in at lower cost. Damage seems to rise linearly for an exponential upgrade cost)

Destiny Child - Item Summon x 10

Destiny Child - Item Summon x 10

Dear fans and friends of Destiny Child,

I have long forsaken item summon out of fear that it will waste my gold. But due to lately I've got some lucky encounters with Golden Aurora in Ragna-Break, I have been doing some item summoning. I prefer to make use of my items as materials for enhancing my current weapon. I just realized that the max level an item can get to is level 15. So those who obtain +15 enchance weapon/armour, you might want to reconsider which weapon/armour you want to enhance with those valuable material.

For summon item x 10 (cost 200K gold in-game currency), it seems that the items that got summoned are all 3-stars and above. Though I never got A-rank 5-star items, I got those that are not bad ones, at B or C rank. 4-star items seems to be quite abundant, and four of them are A-rank of good types (Magic wand, Mini Bazooka, Stop Sign x 2).

Out of the 5 draws of x 10, I got (5-stars category [1 C-rank Pyramid Totem, 1 B-rank Nunchuck, 1 C-rank Axe, 1 C-rank Wetsuit, and 1 C-rank Bikini]).

Also, I got my Spear of Divine Punishment today from Narrative Holy War Event mission. It is dominantly high damage and provide minor HP. It's the only weapon that have HP for me, good for low-level attack children training, as they tend to be squishy.

Sorry that this post don't have any picture, because I can't seem to get screenshot with buttons (Power + Home, gesture option will close the displayed item)

Though there are many post suggesting not to spend gold into item summoning, I feel that I can get out some extra strength on my 5-star children that are now facing bottleneck at level 50. There aren't enough 4-star child I am willing to sacrifice to provide 5-star materials.

Hope you can find your way around this bottleneck too.

Destiny Child - Something fishy is happening at Ragna-Break

Destiny Child - Something fishy is happening at Ragna-Break

Dear fans and friends of Destiny Child,

I write here just to post a rant about something I know will not change. Cheating in game is well-known, even to the point that cheaters compete who can append the highest score within the 64-bit flag in the code.
I post below the score taken today. Break time 00:14 to pull off a 15+ million damage on a 3.5M HP boss.

Below are the pictures of the Team Power of second place and the first place.
(EDIT)
No point buying all the packages and crystals. (This is due to someone may misinterpret my words)
(Personal Opinion) Not buying anything for now.

Hope you enjoy the game.

Destiny Child - Obtained Lost Maat

Destiny Child - Obtained Lost Maat (finally)

Dear fans and friend of Destiny Child

Finally I obtained Lost Maat (5-star child) to complete Maat collection. I also completed my mileage and got the unwanted Mammon (another 5-star child, drive skill is hopeless, not as great as the one in Gold Dungeon's). I swear I will turn him into 5-star fodder when making a 6-star one.

Today's summon draw has been fruitful, with 2 5-star children drawn. Seems like it's time to train Dana because she's the first 5-star child to achieve +2 (Total of 3 children).

Unexpectedly, Lost Maat's skill consumption for Onyx is over the roof. Level 6 skill Daybreak cost 360 Onyx, and slide skill level 9 Eternal Peace cost 1050 Onyx, while the usual ones at level 10 only cost 510 Onyx.

Thanks to Hot Time (every Saturday and Sunday, and today morning it bugged and they patched it, thanks for the 1200 crystals for my stamina loss), I have been diligently leveling the Maat and Morgan collection.

To discuss a little about Morgan team, both Verdelet and Morgan are Destiny Child to each other. I not sure what Destiny Child status do, but this one do complement each other, as they both can cause bleeding debuff on enemies and they can deal bonus damage to enemies with bleeding debuff. Other Destiny Child pair doesn't seem to have any dynamic or synergy. Maid Morgan's Drive skill is very compatible for long phase battle of Story Mode (Hard) and Night Mode Underground. She can deal with 4 enemies and her damage is high (also seems to deal Ignore Defense damage). After that, only the boss is usually left out and the team can dispatch the single boss leisurely, in order to build-up Drive-meter. Then she can start cutting off enemies again at the start of the turn with her drive attack, making the team always into a 5-vs-1 situation.

Hope you guys enjoy the game and get lucky with your draws. I'm about to exhaust my crystals soon as I'm about to reach level 60. Have been trying my hands on crystal farming, but I still not sure if I did it right (can multiple child of the same type achieving max level earn different set of crystals?)

Destiny Child - Obtained my first Liberated Maat

Dear fans and friend of Destiny Child,

Today, I managed to get a good draw in my crystal summoning and got myself my 10th 5-Star child, and is a Liberated Maat to boot.
She is good for the Narrated Holy War dungeon, as her presence will grant all Potato Chips earning up by 50%. Dark materials and Onyx drop don't seem to be affected. I gave her my best armour so that she can start doing dungeon at 6-1 and level up. Her DPS is off the chart, and her ultimate not only affect all enemies, the damage is very high for her level, and she has 10 seconds Rebirth skill on her, which allows her to be reborn with 50% HP if she happened to get picked off while Rebirth is active.

Well, next, looking for Lost Maat to get another bonus 50% for Potato Chips. So I will summon her from Option 2 of the crystal Child Summoning.

Wish you guys good luck in summoning.
